Heavy Echo ,
24 June 2005
90% of the people on the other end couldn't hear me well. If they did the echo drown out my voice. Horrible! Took it back at traded in for the Motorola HS-805. The only thing that's good is the battery aspect. The Motorola Works Great with my BB 7230.

Not a good solution for Mac ,
20 June 2005
I bought this critter to use with Skype and various chat programs on a bluetooth equipped Mac (IMac G5 running 10.3.9). It pairs well, and can be used once. Then the trouble starts. Attempting to use it from any application gives me "Bluetooth Audio failed. There was an error connecting to your headset. Make sure it is turned on and in range. The audio portion of the program you were using may have to be restarted." I suspect that feature of the headset which shuts itself off after a call is the culprit. I've contacted jabra support, to see if there is a way I can override it.

Long life battery, clear sound ,
31 May 2005
This is my second BlueTooth headset. My previous one is Nokia HS-4W which I personally think it useless for its very small sound and poor reception. As for BT110, I love the clear and load sound. To be able to use regular AAA battery is a great plus, and battery life is unbelievably long. I was told that my BT110 is a second version, with the ability to switch modes between "stay on" and "go to sleep everytime after usage". I liked the "stay on" option, as it could automatically connect to my phone when calls came in. CONS: There's one thing I didn't like about headset: It can only pair with ONE single device. After pairing it up with my SE T610, I was not able to pair it with my notebook to use Skype. Then I need to take out the battery, so that it would reset itself so that I can pair it with my notebook. After that, I need to repeat the process again to pair it with my T610. My previous HS-4W didn't have this problem.

BT110 headset paired with Treo 650 ,
29 April 2005
The BT110 is the second bluetooth device that I have used with my treo 650. It works well inside a car with the windows up or indoors.
PROS
It is nice to be able to insert a fresh battery with no down time, The unit is small and will not fall off, Clear incoming sound, Inexpensive, Rugged enough for your pocket, and it pairs really well.
-Pending a fresh battery and close distance to your phone, it worked well.
CONS
You will need rechargeable batteries, the standby time is only about 1 day, any ambiant noise will render it useless, it has a slow connection time[you can't answer calls directly from the earpiece without risking missing the call AND you can't dial and automatically send the call to the earpiece-every connection is done manually and connection time varies] You will eventually start looking at more expensive units...It will hook you on the advantages of BT earpiece and send you shopping for a unit that will transmit clearer, filter out ambiant noise a little better.
TREO 650: Only has BT 1.1 and I think it has a weaker signal than its competitors - You definatly have to go with a higher end unit to be satisfied.

Long-life replacable battery shines vs. BT200 & BT250 ,
27 March 2005
My BT110 has the normal Bluetooth problems of very short range and annoying background clicking, but it works very well and I like it a lot. It uses a standard AAA cell that has long life and can be removed for recharge and/or replacement. This is much better than my BT200 (appears to be nearly the same as the BT250). It worked well and I liked it a lot despite short battery life. Now, after just over a year, its battery often won't last a day of standby let alone conversations. Jabra support says they have no spare parts or service and offered me a 20% discount on a new one. In other words, beware, the BT200 and BT250 are disposable products!

Excellent new advance from Jabra ,
17 January 2005
Hello, I can see that I am the first one to put my review, well first of all I like this Jabra design of the ear gel and the rest of the headset is behind the ear.The new good thing about this new BT110 is simply that it works with AAA battery, this abolishes the defect of shortening of the life of the previous built in rechargeable batteries, imagine that you travel without a charger, when the battery is empty you just go and get anoter one from anywhere.the second good thing is the automatic power off after each call that made my first battery lasted for 12 days. Well I think i tried it for around 1.5 month now with my I-mate PDA2k and it worked perfectly.Ihope this help
