Awesome headset,
05 June 2005
Out of all the devices to speak on with your cellular phone, the cell phone industry has finally found an awesome device. This headset is comfortable, has great sound quality, does not cover your entire ear and make you look like a space alien as does the Motorola devices and overall it is an exceptional device. Feel free to email with questions. (...)

BT200 vs BT250V,
11 May 2005
I am just purchasing a BT250V (I have not yet received it.) I've been using my BT200 for over a year and it's been GREAT! Good sound quality and features. Comfortable to wear all day and fits well. After a couple of days of use, you don't even notice it's there. More importantly, the 250 has almost twice the battery life of the 200 (7 vs 4). I don't know the the vibrating feature is a plus. I would think it adds mass and so, more weight. I'm not sure I need my ear vibrating.
From the mind and labs of sound genius, Woody Norris, The Jabra is a great unit.
(I only gave the BT250V three stars, since I have not yet received it. If it works as well as my BT200, it will rate five stars.)

Solid product...,
30 April 2005
I first bought a bluetooth headset when I had my T616 with ATT wireless and it was absolute trash.. (Sony HB65) I got a bad first taste of bluetooth but since then I got a HS820 from a coworker and it was decent but felt flimsy and unsecure against my head.. The BT250v is much more secure and the audio quality is great. Same model as the BT250 I just liked the all black style of the 250v (I turn off the vibrate mode). I have not had a problem at all with reception or the range on the device. I really like this headset... BTW works great with RIM 7290 if you are wondering!!!

AutoExpress Best Buy ... Again,
28 April 2005
Here's an extract from AutoTrader headset test dated 28April2005 and the reason I'm buying one... "A direct descendant of the BT200 - which won our 2003 test - the 250V had essentially the same design, but in a cool two-tone black finish. The 250V hasn't lost any of the 200's appeal, especially when it comes to comfort, fitting neatly behind the ear with a boom that curves forward in line with the lower jaw. Mike performance was brilliant, while voice dialling was the strongest here. All this and a good price means Jabra is our Best Buy again. .. Verdict Jabra does it again, with the stylish, practical and comfortable BT250V turning in a fantastic performance - and all at the right price. If you already own a Nokia mobile phone and consequently have the facility to charge it, then the HS-4W makes a decent choice. But if not, the Motorola HS-850 ticks enough boxes to take the Recommended slot. Hands-free Headsets 1 Jabra BT250V 2 Motorola HS-850 3 Nokia HS-4W " http://www.autoexpress.co.uk/product_test/56270/handsfree_headsets.html Enough said.

Two things to note about this product,
19 April 2005
I fell in love with the bluetooth module when I got my first bluetooth enabled phone. The idea of being able to jus tleave your phone in your pocket, in your house on the counter, or elsewhere, and walk around up to 30 feet without holding the phone was just awesome. Two things about this phone, however, that made this appeal diminish over time:
1. The 30ft. radius degrades over time. Although you should still be able to get 30ft six months down the road, the reception will be extremely scratchy. The quality of this receptoin is based on your battery in the phone, which degrades over time as well.
2. The construction of the product is flimsy. If you are like me and put things in your pocket, beware that this will cause the plastic and rubber to disconnect from each other, making the wires inside visible. I also lost a button - it popped out when the parts disconnected. So if you buy this, take care of it. It will still work, but it will just be that much more annoying.
Hope this helps.

Lifetime of unreplacable battery: just beyond 1 yr warranty,
27 March 2005
I got a BT200 (appears to be nearly the same as the BT250v) 15 months ago. It worked well and I liked it a lot despite annoying background clicking and short battery life. Now, after just over a year, its battery often won't last a day of standby let alone conversations. Jabra support says they have no spare parts or service and offered me a 20% discount on a new one. In other words, beware that this is a disposable product! I also have a BT-110, which uses a AAA cell that has much longer life and can be removed for recharge and/or replacement.
